Pat Hammack, Delta Health Specialist: Six years experience working with KRDP and over 20 years experience in health care working in the following capacities: office manager for a pulmonary care clinic; support staff for a hospital EKG Interpretation group; medical assistant for an EENT and a urology group. Years of volunteer community development work: Ky. Member, Agency for Substance Abuse Policy in Webster County; Drug Court Steering Committee member in Webster County.
Fay Hayden, Delta Health Specialist:: Three years experience with KRDP and over 35 years experience as a nurse working in the following capacities: team leader and medication nurse in a hospital; industrial nurse for a barge company, and staff nurse/phlebotomist for the Red Cross. Prior to working for KRDP Ms. Hayden spent years as a regional Donor Resources Representative for Red Cross.
Joe Larin, Project Director:: has six years experience working with KDRP, and over 30 years experience in health care planning, administration, consulting, and grant writing. He has worked in primary and secondary health care environments, and in rural, remote, and international settings. Joe holds a masters degree from San Francisco State University, and a doctorate degree from the University of Michigan.
Shawn Miller, Delta Project Specialist:: One year experience working with KRDP. Shawn is a recent graduate of Murray State University with a BS in criminal justice. He has held part-time jobs and volunteered his services to nonprofit organizations including the Agency for Substance Abuse Policy, Caring Needline, and Fit Youth Team.
Susan Reid, Project Coordinator:: has four years experience working with KDRP, and over 10 years experience as a graphic designer. Her current responsibilities include: coordinating health promotion events (2-Hr Tours, and trainings); recording, tracking, and monitoring data submitted by 57 schools and four Project Specialists; maintaining KDRP's website and managing its data base; producing layouts for newsletters, brochures, and training materials; and providing technical support to staff, community agencies, and schools. Susan holds a BA degree from Western Kentucky University
Kelcey Rutledge, Project Coordinator:: has six years experience working with KDRP. His previous experience in health care included: health benefits analysis and processing, community development, and management. His current responsibilities include: managing the Medication Assist program: budgeting, finance, bookkeeping, vendor setup, and payment processing. Kelcey holds a BA degree from Clark Atlanta University, and a MBA from Western Kentucky University
Vicki Yonts, Delta Health Specialist:: Six years experience working with KRDP and over 20 years experience in community development, training, and volunteer work: Chairperson, Muhlenberg County’s Relay for Life; Board member, Muhlenberg County Library; Regional Council member, Member, Agency for Substance Abuse Policy in Muhlenberg; Muhlenberg County Cervical and Breast Cancer Coalition; Certified Look Good Feel Better Presenter for the American Cancer Society; Regional Representative for Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky; Coordinator, Muhlenberg County School District Mentoring; Member, Trainer, Certified Character Counts! Kentucky Institute of Medicine Task Force.
